[7:157] -
Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (pbuh) foretold in Earlier Revelations
ALLAH, The Exalted, Has Informed the mankind thus:
[ALLAH’S Quran – 7:157 – Dr Munir Munshey] “(My mercy is for) those who follow the messenger, the prophet who can neither read nor write. They will find him mentioned in their scriptures, the Torah and the gospels. He orders them to do the right thing, and to avoid the wrong. He makes the pure and the wholesome lawful for them, and he forbids them the foul and the filthy. He relieves them of the burdens and the shackles with which they were bogged down. Successful indeed, are those who believe in him, honor and help him, and follow the light (the Qur´an) that was revealed to him.”
From The BIBLE
[Isaiah – 42:11 – NLT] “I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not give my glory to anyone else, nor share my praise with carved idols.”
[Isaiah – 42:9 – WEB] “Behold, the former things have happened, and I declare new things. I tell you about them before they come up."
[Deuteronomy - 18:15 – WBT] “The LORD thy God will raise up to thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like to me; to him ye shall hearken.”
[Deuteronomy – 18:18 – ERV] “I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee; and I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.”
[Isaiah – 42:11 – NIV] “Let the desert and its towns raise their voices; let the settlements where Kedar lives rejoice. Let the people of Sela sing for joy; let them shout from the mountaintops.”
[1 Chronicles – 1:29 – WBT] “These are their generations. The first-born of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,”
[Isaiah – 42:12 – NLT] “Let the whole world glorify the LORD; let it sing his praise.”
[John – 14:16 – WEB] “I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever,”

[John – 15:26 –WEB] “When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.”
[Mathew - 24:27 – NLT] “For as the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the west, so it will be when the Son of Man comes.”
DESCRIPTION OF ALLAH’S PROPHET (pbuh) IN TORAH (Old Testament)
[ALLAH’S Quran – [7:157] – Asad] “those who shall follow the [last] Apostle, the unlettered Prophet whom they shall find described in the Torah that is with them, and [later on] in the Gospel: [the Prophet] who will enjoin upon them the doing of what is right and forbid them the doing of what is wrong, and make lawful to them the good things of life and forbid them the bad things, and lift from them their burdens and the shackles that were upon them [aforetime]. Those, therefore, who shall believe in him, and honour him, and succour him, and follow the light that has been bestowed from on high through him-it is they that shall attain to a happy state."
[Bukhari, Book #34, Hadith #335] “Narrated Ata bin Yasar: I met Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As and asked him, "Tell me about the description of ALLAH's Apostle which is mentioned in Torah (i.e. Old Testament.") He replied, 'Yes. By ALLAH, he is described in Torah with some of the qualities attributed to him in the Quran as follows: "O Prophet ! We have sent you as a witness (for ALLAH's True religion) And a giver of glad tidings (to the faithful believers), And a warner (to the unbelievers) And guardian of the illiterates. You are My slave and My Messenger (i.e. Apostle). I have named you "Al-Mutawakkil" (who depends upon ALLAH). You are neither discourteous, harsh Nor a noise-maker in the markets And you do not do evil to those Who do evil to you, but you deal With them with forgiveness and kindness. ALLAH will not let him (the Prophet) Die till he makes straight the crooked people by making them say: "None has the right to be worshipped but ALLAH," With which will be opened blind eyes And deaf ears and enveloped hearts."
