For The Believers, MORAL EXCELLENCE IS ENJOINED

ALLAH GUIDES MANKIND TO ALL THAT IS RIGHTEOUS
[Qur’an - 17:9 – Asad] “VERILY, this Qur'an shows the way to all that is most upright, and gives the believers who do good deeds the glad tiding that theirs will be a great reward”

1. The FOUNDATIONS of Moral Excellence....................
[ALLAH’S Qur’an - 4:36 – Al-Muntakhab] “And worship Allah and do not incorporate with Him other deities, and commit your parents to your kind care and display to them and to the kindred who are related by blood and to the orphans a friendly and kind disposition. A similar disposition is extended to the poor and to the neighbour related or immediate, to the associate and to the wayfarer, and to those on-hand, whether they be captives or reduced to servile state. And do realize that Allah detests every boastful who exalts himself unduly and displays inordinate self-esteem”

Be Kind and Polite, Sincerely, Engagingly to all Beings at all times.............

2. When greeted, return the greeting with a better one...............
[Qur’an - 4:86 – Al-Muntakhab] “When you are greeted with words or gestures, acknowledge the greeting with a more courteous recognition or at least return the same formula; it is an obligation. Allah has always taken account of all things and all actions”

3. Call all To The Way of Thy Lord with wisdom................
[Qur’an - 16:125 – Yusuf Ali] “Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance”

4. Speak to all the people, kindly, always...................
[Qur’an - 17:53 – Omar] “And say to My servants that they should speak only what is gracious, for satan (is keen to) provoke discord among them. Satan indeed is an enemy to the people, disuniting (one another).”

5. Repel Evil with Good....................
[Qur’an - 41:34 – Aisha Bewley] “A good action and a bad action are not the same. Repel the bad with something better and, if there is enmity between you and someone else, he will be like a bosom friend”

6. Do not be a Racist.....................
[Qur’an - 49:13 - Taqi Usmani] “People, We have created you all male and female and have made you nations and tribes so that you would recognize each other. The most honorable among you in the sight of God is the most pious of you. God is All-knowing and All-aware”

7. Do not be Arrogant......................
[Qur’an - 31:18 – Taqi Usmani] “and do not turn your cheek away from people, and do not walk on the earth haughtily. Surely, Allah does not like anyone who is arrogant, proud”
